How the Goddess Returned to Us

This post continues looking at the theme arising from my post ‘We Are Not the Goddesses,’ where I looked at the phenomenon of women self-referencing as a goddess (rather than as a devotee of a goddess.) In this week’s post, I look at how Goddess Spirituality returned to the Western world, and how her ancient rites returned to us with some newer ones. My examples below are, of necessity, brief and leave out many influences, but these are just some of the signposts that were particular to my own journey. You will have found many other routes, I’m sure.
